SITU/ Fabrication specializes in the engineering and construction of unique and technically demanding projects. So many of SITU’s projects become “the thing” that people remember about buildings and public spaces. The team at SITU enjoys pushing the limits of what can be created to delimit what can be imagined. SITU also teamed up with this month’s presenter, SolarWorks, to design their unique solar canopy product.

Leave work early to get to the Navy Yard by 6:00pm and learn how these creative fabrications are made. It will be worth it. Light refreshments will be served. There are many ways to get to SITU.

Sand Street (next to Wegmans) and Cumberland Ave. gates are closest to Building 132 (see map below)

Access to the Navy Yard is restricted, so registrants will receive a QR code from Proxyclick that you will show at the security gate or as you board one of the free shuttles that leave nearby subway stations.

Getting there:

1. Walk 13 minutes from the York St. F Station

2. Hop on a free shuttle from Atlantic Terminal, York Street or High Street (every 10 minutes.)

3. Ferry from Pier 11 (Wall Street) or East 34th Street (every 45 minutes.)

4. Citibike – there are docks in the navy Yard

5. Your own bike – SITU has bike racks on premises.

Please sign up early, as we’ll close the registration a noon the day before so that the Proxyclick QR’s can be generated and distributed.
