Brooklyn: Then and Now January 16, 2019
Francis Morrone is an architectural historian and author of many books, including An Architectural Guidebook to Brooklyn. Mr. Morrone is well known for his encyclopedic and witty walking tours. He lectures widely and is an adjunct professor at New York University’s School for Professional Studies.
Claire Weisz is a founding partner of WXY Architecture + Urban Design, a firm that focuses on public spaces, cities and the urban experience. WXY’s work ranges from urban design, waterfront resiliency projects and buildings. Their Department of Sanitation Garage and Salt Shed (in collaboration with Dattner Architects) received an AIA Honor Award in Architecture in 2018.
