DISCUSSION OUTLINE
1. Project Changes:
A. Differences in project typologies: How public spaces are being designed differently (offices, restaurants, large scale eateries, etc).
B. Delays in general product and materials to the construction site; Delays in DOB/LPC processing due to examiners working from home, less in-person meetings.
2. Personnel Changes:
A. Addressing staffing issues during downturns, and how to reintegrate employees or hire during a pandemic.
B. Technology- what are people finding works best? Are there new programs/platforms (beyond zoom) that help establish a connection that used to be only viable by in-person reviews?
C. Confidence and checking in on employee production: What works, what doesn’t?
D. Mental health of the staff. Where an office lunch used to serve as a check in, now what are people doing?
E. Physical health of the staff: Responsibility of employer for potential staff exposure at site visits. Pushing back on clients that want to meet in person where it is not required. General protocol for health issues- are people requiring employees to get vaccinated? Can you even do that?
