Travis J M Bunt, AIA is the Managing Partner at Office for the Next Environment, where he focuses on the design integration and implementation of public infrastructure. A former Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer, he has spent the past decade supporting major city and regional climate adaptation efforts. He is the Architect of Record of six miles of Lower Manhattan’s coastal redesign, including the East Midtown, Brooklyn Bridge-Montgomery, and East Side Coastal Resiliency projects; a technical advisor on flood protection to the Battery Park City Authority; and the urban design lead for the ongoing Financial District and Seaport Climate and Maritime Masterplans for New York City.
Roni Deitz is the Global Director for Climate Adaptation at Arcadis, where she helps public and private sector clients navigate climate risk and deliver resilient infrastructure investments. Roni has supported some of the region’s most transformative resilience initiatives, including the BIG U and East Side Coastal Resiliency, Lower Manhattan resilience efforts, waterfront and coastal resilience projects across the five boroughs, and citywide climate adaptation programs. Her work brings together climate science, engineering, planning, funding strategy, and implementation to help communities, and infrastructure owners move from climate risk assessment to on-the-ground resilience outcomes.
