The AIA Brooklyn Emerging Professionals Committee is a voice and a resource for architects and designers who are within the first 10 years of their architectural career. As a Committee, we organize a variety of social and educational programs and events that cultivate the emerging  professional and encourage a network of seasoned professionals who support young people in the early stages of their careers.

Some of the programs that the AIA Brooklyn Emerging Professionals Committee supports:

  • A.R.E. Study Group: Group study sessions, discussion panels, events and a lending library that serve to help individuals that are studying for their license.
  • Networking and Social Events: Teaming up with local AIA Chapters, other AIA Brooklyn Committees as well as other Related Industry Organizations, we host several events that encourage connection, learning from peers, and career advancement.

Whether you are an architecture student, a recent graduate or a newly licensed architect – the BKEP is a great way of meeting new people and building a strong foundation for your career as an Architect.
